RAC Axial Roof Units

  Features

• The range covers sizes 315- 500 mm diameter with standard variable pitch axial flow impellers.

  Construction

• The RAC range of roof units are a compact designed roof unit for low profile applications. It is manufactured from a
  galvanized base and casing incorporating a bird screen mesh with a GRP low profile weather cap.

Impellers

• The fans incorporate AMS standard axial flow fan range.
  Refer to page C-4.

  Motors

The following standard specifications apply:

• - Totally enclosed IP55 or ECM motors as required.
  - 240V single phase or 400/3/50 three phase.
  - Motors can be speed controlled.
  - ECM motors have integrated control.
  - Protection on motor class can be specified. Standard motors will typically have IP55 class protection.

Soaker sheets

• Soaker sheets are available in most modern roof profiles complete with integral up stands.

Selection procedure

• The units are selected of the standard AMS axial flow curves allowing a K factor of 1.2.
